Newly reformed alternative band Jane's Addiction have released two new songs on the internet to promote their new tour with Nine Inch Nails.

On Friday, the band recorded "Chip Away" and "Whores", which were previously released on their 1987 self-titled live album, but never studio-recorded. The tracks can be found at Ninja2009.com, the group's tour site.

Jane's front man Perry Farrell gave a little insight to Billboard.com as to how it was like in the studio.

The contract, signed in 1962 by the 'Fab Four’ – John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, real name Richard Starkey, and George Harrison - tied them to manger Brian Epstein and promises the group one old English penny each for every record they sold.
